The Summer House is pristine.
From her writing desk she has a perfect view of the garden, the space private and inspiring.
Inside the desk are numerous compartments, each one hiding an object or memento from her past. She reaches into the jar and pulls out a numbered key at random, instructing her to open the bottom left drawer.
Inside is a photograph of the Summer House, derelict and overgrown, taken on the first day in her new home.
With this image in mind she picks up her pen, the words already beginning to form in her mind.
A 100 word story based on the photo prompt from the Friday Fictioneers.
