The hotel manager storms outside to confront the Mayor, who has once again parked illegally outside of the hotel. The disabled parking bay is clearly marked as such, and for the third time this week the Mayor has chosen authority over rules and common decency.
The manager argues with the Mayor, a representation of every injustice that he has ever ignored, until finally he explodes and commits a serious assault.
Two weeks later the Mayor still parks in the same disabled spot, a new permit badge on his windscreen and a slight limp as he walks.
